Mountaineer Pack This is our most versatile design yet. The main body detaches from the hip portion to make a hip pack with an independent hip belt, perfect for day hikes. The body of the pack can be used fully extended or compressed for smaller loads. Comes with detachable pocket flap. This rugged top loading pack does not sacrifice comfort or performance for it’s versatility. It features fully adjustable shoulder straps, waist belt, sternum strap and harness. Other features include wand pockets, two-pocket lid, bottom zippered sleeping bag compartment, #10 YKK coil zippers, ice axe loops, two full wrap-around compression straps, and daisy chains all around. This pack is another great choice for the back country skier or snowboarder on extended trips. It’s larger than the Ski Pack and designed to carry a snow board, skis, axes and shovel.
